My Christmas wish

Later today when I sit down with family and friends for Christmas dinner I will be giving thanks to God; my family and friends; to the members of the Armed Forces; to our veterans who have given so much; first responders and caregivers who work 24/7; to our teachers; to our children who are working hard to learn, to hard working people in my district and throughout the United States.

I’m going to be saying a special prayer for people who struggle to get by every day. All of us must find ways to encourage and help them.

I’ll also be praying for our leaders to embrace wisdom and understanding because all of us want peace, both here in the United States and overseas.

Please tell me what you’ll be giving thanks for this Christmas.
